Library Hours

  • Before School: 7:30 am-8:10 am (Pass Required); Students must be in class by 8:15 am; No in and out privileges

  • During School: 8:15 am-3:40 pm (Pass Required); Students should go to class to get a pass from the teacher before coming to the Library; No visits during passing periods; Lunch passes available at the discretion of Librarian and her schedule.

  • After School: 3:45 pm-4:00 pm (No Pass Required); Students should have a purpose for being in the Library after schoolLoitering & disruptive behavior will not be tolerated; No in and out privileges.

Library Expectations

  • Speak in a reasonable tone and volume

  • Be courteous and polite to all

  • Ask for help

  • Use resources and supplies responsibly

  • Walk calmly

  • Respect designated areas during class use

  • Use self-control

  • You will be held responsible at all times for the proper use of District technology resources, and the District may suspend or revoke your access if you violate the rules.​​

  • The account is to be used primarily for educational purposes, but some limited personal use is permitted.

Library Materials

  • AISD students have access to books from their home campus and books and from other AISD campuses.  If you want a book we don't have at Webb, you can request to borrow the book through interlibrary loan (ILL).

  • If you would like a book that is currently checked out, ask to place a hold so that you will be next in line for the book.

  • Research sources, including databases and print reference materials, are available to help you complete assigned research projects.  When using databases and any online sources, district policies regarding acceptable use must be followed.  See your student handbook for more information on the Acceptable Use Policy.

  • Students may check out 2 books at a time, for 2 weeks.

  • Lost books must be paid for, but can be refunded if you find it during the same school year and return it in good condition.

Digital Resources

​Webb Library digital resources include both Audiobooks and eBooks, which can be accessed through the AISD portal. After you log in to the portal, search for MackinVIA. The left sidebar shows both Audiobooks and eBooks. In addition, AISD provides many databases for school research also available through MackinVIA.
